PLEASE NOTE: The UKOSF has paused the UK selection process for the FISO OCR World Championships while the impact of COVID-19 and the associated restrictions are fully assessed. UKOSF will provide an update by June 1st, or sooner if further direction is provided by World OCR.

As a member of the Fédération Internationale de Sports d’Obstacles (FISO or World OCR) UKOSF is responsible for selecting the team to represent the UK at the FISO OCR World Championships (September 17-20 2020).

The event will be at the site of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games, in Sochi Russia, located in the beautiful Caucus Mountains by the Black Sea. Event formats include 100 m Sprint OCR (10 obstacles), 3 km OCR (20+ obstacle) and standard distance 12+ km OCR (40+ obstacles) cross country obstacle course race. There will also be a National Team Race. Qualification to the elite or age group competitions must be gained through the UKOSF.

As there is no National OCR Championship in 2020 a UKOSF Athlete Selection Panel made up of community members will select the UK Team for the FISO OCR World Championships. Those wishing to be considered for selection should complete the UKOSF Athlete Application Form.

Further details on the process are covered in the FISO OCR World Championships Selection Policy. Athletes will also be required to sign the Team Members Agreement.
